pandasheart: I am pony! Hear me roar! (rapidash)
No word on my Wing yet, but that is to be expected. Shane said he was backed up for about a week and a half. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll know just how bad the bill will be to get my ride back.

By now the greenware (30 pieces!) that was dropped off at Manassas Clay should be bisque fired. I'll need to go back in and glaze it all. Speaking of glaze, I've still not chosen a third glaze to go with the two that I have. I may end up waiting to see how this batch turns out and then make a decision.

We had a long few days this past week while waiting for me to go in for some additional diagnostic work. Seems there a lump discovered on my mammogram. After an ultrasound and a second mammogram, we learned everything is a-okay; the lump is just normal tissue. WHEW!

We had a fun time over the weekend with various friends. The housewarming party was a lot of fun and it's a shame we had to leave the fun as the gaming was just getting hot but the puppies were home and hungry.

Ended up having to revamp my Prancing Pony Pottery website twice due to some glitches but it's up and running now and I'm pretty happy with it. www.prancingponypottery.com by the way.

Yesterday I found that a friend that I met at the 1994 Americade rally has stage 4 cancer. While I've not seen her in a many years, we've kept in touch with letters, emails and Facebook. Her daughter is going to make her a "hugs from friends" blanket with folks sending in things for it. I have just the shirt to send in hopes that it can become part of this wonderful idea.

Despite having to be in Fredericksburg two days in a row this week, I've actually gotten some studio in and have several pieces of both thrown and hand-built pottery drying on my shelves.

Speaking of things in Fredericksburg, The massage therapist that Dr. Truong is having work on me is doing wonders. This week in addition to helping my back and legs, he worked on my plantar plantar fasciitis. YAY!

[livejournal.com profile] daecabhir and I are really making an effort to sit and meditate in the evenings. It's not always easy with so much going on, but it does us both a world of good. And we get to do it together - which means a lot for us both.

We're still dorks, you know!
