TGIF (August edition)
August 3rd, 2012 09:23 pmLots of little things have gotten done between yesterday and today. Phone calls made, laundry done, clay played with and more.
No word from Apple FCU; as soon as we have joined another credit union, I will be closing down my accounts with Apple and letting them know why they lost my membership and business.
I have completed both projects that I entered in the Ravellinics - a pair of mittens and a bag made from plastic grocery bags. No really, I knitted with plastic! Both projects earned a gold medal and now my team has asked if I will knit anything else since there is a full week to go in the games. Oy!
A pretty good time in the studio today ... I made a few small plates, another pinch-bottom mug, a spoon rest, a small bowl and my first cup. My wrists are sore, but it's worth it. (And yes, arnica gel and my 'wonder woman' bracers are in my future.)
